Ragdoll Kitten Adoption Process
STEP 1:
Completing an adoption application is the first step toward bringing home a Simply Ragdolls kitten. We want our kittens to go to loving homes, and we want you to find the kitten you’ve been dreaming of. The more detail you can provide in your application, the better!
Once approved, you’ll be added to our Trusted Homes List.
Submit Your Adoption Application
STEP 2:
Our Trusted Homes are the first to be notified when kittens are born and will have priority in choosing once kittens become available at 8-9 weeks of age and have had their first veterinary exam.
When that time comes, interested families will receive a kitten preferences questionnaire. I use this, along with prior conversations, to match kittens with the families I feel are the best fit. If you’re selected for a potential match, you’ll have 24 hours to initiate the reservation process before the kitten may be offered to another family.
A signed adoption agreement and a $500 fee are required to reserve a kitten. The reservation fee is non-refundable, but it does go toward the total cost of your kitten.

STEP 3:
As you prepare for your new kitten’s arrival, I’ll send you weekly updates so you can follow along with your kitten’s growth.

Prepare for Your New Kitten
STEP 4:
Our kittens are ready for their forever homes after they have recovered from their spay or neuter surgeries, typically around 16 weeks of age.
You have 3 options for pickup or delivery:
Local Pickup—Colorado Springs: You’re welcome to pick up your kitten directly from our home.
Airport Pickup—COS or DEN: Out-of-state buyers may meet me at the Colorado Springs Airport (COS) or Denver International Airport (DEN). I provide transport to the Colorado Springs airport at no cost. Pickup at Denver includes a $100 travel fee.
Personal Delivery: I’m happy to hand-deliver your kitten by flying with them to your nearest major airport. Additional delivery and travel fees will apply.

Our kittens are currently priced at $2,500. Each kitten is the result of careful planning, ethical breeding, and lots of love and hands-on attention in our home. Pet Kittens
Ragdolls are naturally social, and we love seeing our kittens go home in pairs. We offer a $200 discount when you adopt two of our kittens at the same time.
Multiple Kitten Discount
As our toms and queens retire from our breeding program, we occasionally have adult Ragdolls available for adoption. These cats are already spayed or neutered and are ready to settle into their forever homes.

Retired Breeding Cats
We occasionally offer kittens with breeding rights to registered catteries that share our values of health, ethics, and responsible breeding practices. If you’re interested in a breeding-quality Ragdoll kitten, please reach out to us directly for more information.

Conditions of Sale

If a health concern arises within the warranty period, buyers may be eligible for reimbursement of qualified veterinary expenses, a replacement kitten, or a refund—up to the purchase price of the kitten. Certain conditions apply. Reservation fees are non-refundable but may be transferred to future litters for up to two years.

Declawing is strictly prohibited. Declawing can cause long-term behavioral and physical health issues. We require all buyers to agree never to declaw their kitten.

All Simply Ragdolls kittens are placed strictly as indoor-only companions. We believe Ragdolls thrive best in safe, indoor environments where they are protected from injury, illness, and predators. Because Ragdolls are specifically bred for their gentle and docile temperaments, they often lack the survival instincts necessary for life outdoors. Any outdoor access must be supervised and limited to secure enclosures or leashed outings.

All kittens are placed as pets and will be spayed/neutered prior to going home. If you are interested in purchasing a kitten with breeding rights, please contact us directly.

We offer lifetime support for every kitten we place. If you are ever unable to keep your kitten, we require that the cat be returned to us or rehomed with our written approval. Our goal is to ensure each cat remains in a safe, loving home.

We stand behind the health of our kittens. All kittens are examined by a licensed veterinarian, vaccinated, microchipped, and go home with a five-year genetic health warranty and a 5-day infectious disease warranty. Complete details are outlined in our Adoption Agreement.
